Positioning in from Kiev late afternoon on Friday 27th August as ADB307F, UR-09307 departed to Arrecife, with a replacement aircraft engine as cargo. The mighty Antonov returned from the Canaries on Sunday 29th August as ADB7306. UR-09307 departed Runway 24L to Prestwick at 1214 on Wednesday 1st September as ADB306F, having lined up at 1206, and in amongst departures on 24R - ATC with a sense of compassion for the massed ranks on the southside! Witness UR-09307 arrive on 27/8/04 over nearby Stockport (http://www.sitesupplyco.com/an22video.html) and taxi to parking past the Aviation Viewing Park (http://www.mbarth.freeserve.co.uk/) Or view the Antonov from almost every angle and find out why Ringway was chosen as a destination for the mighty Antonov Design Bureau craft.
